I am a mom, grandmother, quilt book author, publisher, blogger, videographer, quilt designer, publishing strategist for craft professionals. I believe in sharing, giving, honesty and what goes around comes around. I have a positive, optimistic attitude and a pretty happy outlook.
I travel, vend at quilt shows, teach quilting and assist craft professionals with self publishing when I’m not writing or designing quilts. I live in an RV and travel the USA and Canada, from Alaska to Arizona and in 2014 I think I’ll be headed toward New England in the RV.
I work hard at whatever I do because I love what I do. I maintain 5 major websites, a few minor ones, my YouTube Channel and I publish my own books for print and e-readers. I love quilting by machine and making imperfect quilts. I love fabrics, from scraps to batiks, and rely on my close friends to help me with my color choices because they gag when I put together my own fabric combinations. Occasionally I buy a fabric just because I really, really love it, but I don’t cherish it so much that I never cut it. Living in an RV helps end the “cherish” phase because I can only have what’s useful to me.
I love to teach, write, draw, help others, walk outside, be near the ocean, and be surprising. I love coming up with new ideas, sharing them, and I love a challenge! I love email! Please drop me a note at MMQuilts @ gmail.com about anything related to quilting, bunnies, Alaska, RVing, writing, publishing or whatever you like to chat about
