2009-2006 Granddaughter Audrey born in September 2006.  Wrote Crazy Shortcut Quilts Book with my daughter, Sarah Raffuse, and marketed it as much as possible, using the internet, website, blogs, video, Quilt Market and teaching in person.  Still working the desk job (part-time). Spent the summer of 2008 finishing my first novel.  Don’t ask to read it, it stinks.  Working on second and third now.  Still trying to get over the death of my nephews.  I guess that’s a never ending process.  I miss them every day.

2006-2004 Pretty much in shock over the murder of my nephews. Took a leave of absence from work and went commercial fishing again. I don’t remember much of those years.  Sold the mid-arm.

2004-2003 Quit day job to follow dream of going commercial fishing for the summer with Tom.  Sarah got married!  Found another day job at the end of the fishing season. Quilt Market in the fall.  Bought mid-arm quilting system.  Mucked along until March when my nephews were murdered.

2003-2002 Went back to a desk job in a healthier environment. Sold Longarm machine.

2002-2000 Followed a dream to live in a smaller Alaskan town and found hate, corruption, immorality, and ruthless greed, all within the State of Alaska Department of Education, Alaska Vocational & Technical School. What a freaking nightmare!  Reported abuses at the school to every agency I could think of, suffered extreme backlash and retaliation and finally quit the job.  Quilted for quilt book authors Dina Pappas and Trish Stuart, going to Quilt Market with them.  Met Tom and learned how to play pool.

2000-1984 Worked my career job, going to school nights and moving up the ladder.  Did some ocean kayaking, took in my nephews, bought a house,  learned to quilt the new-fangled way.  Started teaching quilting classes and  professionally machine quilted for customers.  Spend a lot of time driving teenagers around and waiting for them to call for rides or other errands. Bought longarm quilting machine and went to first Quilt Market in spring of 1999.  Started writing a novel.

1984-1979 Met ex-husband, married, had 1 child, divorced.

May 1978  Moved to Anchorage, Alaska at age 19 from the East Coast.
